the banner photo at the top of the page is a picture i took last summer in romania. the body of water is a section of the danube river. pretty rad.
i spent 8 days in romania touring the country and visiting my folks who currently live there. in spite of the effects of communism that still linger in the romanian's hearts and minds, the country was absolutely beautiful and full of history. i was able to visit castles, hike mountains, and watch the Euro2008 championship match in a European country. fantastic.
i will add more photos and stories about my trip in future posts.
